Salary:  £31,125 per annum, increasing to £32,000 after 6 months and £32,850 after 12 months

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

The People Team help make Independent Age a great place to work and enable our people to do great work so our charity can help more older people in financial hardship. This is a key role in the team, working closely with our People Managers and the second People Officer to effectively maintain our processes and systems and ensure that all transactional activity and first-line advice and support for staff and volunteers is delivered to the highest standard. The role also supports with various projects across the team.

You should have demonstrable experience of working in an HR operations environment, and experience developing and improving systems and processes. Strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and time management skills are also key. You must be committed to ensuring an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace, and ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9-day fortnight.
